Need some SPOOKY or HAUNTED Zen in your life?  Then join us to make polymer clay creations for a Zen Garden.

What:

Join us for a gentle, relaxing time where you can sit and design ghosts, pumpkins and tombstones out of polymer clay — including glow-in-the-dark clay! Each participant can made 4  different characters in addition to a tray, rake and sand for the finished Zen Garden.  There will also be a variety of add ons available at the time of class for additional purchase — upgraded rakes, bigger trays and 100s of pre-made miniatures,  rocks and more to accent your polymer clay creations.

Cost:

$39 which includes a small tray, sand, rake and 4 polymer creations created by you for the garden.  You can upgrade your tray and rake for an additional cost.  Extra items for the garden range from $3.49 to $7.99 each.

Ages:

12+. Younger kids can attend if accompanied by an adult.

Classes are taught at The Local Artisan Collective, located at 2371 Kiesel Ave in down town Ogden, just a little south of the Megaplex.

About The Instructors:

Gail Moses taught artists ages 5 to 95 in Alaska for decades in various mediums. After 40 years in the picturesque MatSu Valley, Alaska, Gail relocated to beautiful sunny Ogden, Utah in 2018.

Jenny Venegas has always found joy in learning and creating through what many refer to as “domestic arts” — sewing, quilting, canning, and embroidery, to name a few. After taking a break from her creative endeavors for many years, she’s gradually returned to her roots with her brand, Aunt GG’s which is inspired by her Great-Aunts Grace and Glady.  Jenny creates comforting handmade goods for the kitchen, home and patio.
