Cozy Correspondence: A DIY Wax Seal Workshop

What:
Step into the wonderful world of wax seals and discover the magic of turning ordinary letters, gifts, journals, and keepsakes into tiny works of art. Join me for a relaxing, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the basics of creating beautiful wax seals using traditional sealing wax, stamps, metallic accents, dried flowers, and other embellishments.

You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with different colors, techniques, and designs while creating a collection of seals that are uniquely your own. Whether you’re a stationery enthusiast, a journal lover, or simply looking for a creative way to spend an afternoon, this class is the perfect opportunity to slow down, create, and have fun.  (This class involves wax warmers/heaters and open flames. A waiver will be signed beforehand.)

Pricing:
$30. Class price includes all materials needed to create your own collection of wax seals, along with plenty of time to experiment with colors, techniques, and embellishments.

Ages:
Suitable for both children (10+) and adults. No experience is necessary, just come ready to create and have fun!

About the Teacher:
Hi! I’m Monica, the owner of Wally’s Wax Co., a local artist, maker, and special education teacher with a passion for bringing a little more creativity into everyday life. I love sharing simple, approachable crafts that anyone can enjoy, and I believe art should be beautiful, relaxing, and accessible for all ages. I can’t wait to create with you!

When and Where:
This class is located at The Local Artisan Collective, located at 2371 Kiesel Avenue in Ogden, and will be held on August 29th, 2026 5:00-7:00 PM.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
A full refund, minus a $5 cancellation fee, will be given for cancellations made more than seven days before the class. No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than seven days before the class begins.
