Jackie Archibald, owner of Journey Bound Designs, is a mixed media artist who loves the freedom and challenge of using various materials to create unique and one-of-a-kind pieces. Her journals are filled with durable 98# mixed media paper, perfect for graphite, marker, ink and colored pencils. They can be used for self-expression, as a diary or as an art journal to explore thoughts, feelings and ideas. The beads and embellishments are hand-sewn into the covers, whenever possible to ensure a long lasting and cherished keepsake.

Nan Poulsen of Nan’s Gourds From the Garden to Art Art has always been an important part of my life. Gourds let me combine two of my passions—art and gardening. We grow our gourds in West Haven. After harvesting, they cure and dry through the winter. In the heat of summer, the gourds are scrubbed clean. Finally, the gourds are ready to be transformed into unique treasures. The gourds tell me what they want to become through the use of paint, ink, pyrography, coiling, and carving.

Jennifer is a devoted cat lover who draws inspiration from her feline companions and the therapeutic accomplishment of creating. She handcrafts rainbow votive soy candles, which feature sparkling crystals as they burn. She also enjoys participating in farmers market, supporting local art and community while sharing in the creative atmosphere that inspires her work.

Salt City Pottery Jordan Harvey I am a small batch potter from Northern Utah. I have been making pottery since 1998, and my heart is in making things that are useful, beautiful and unique. My work often features bare clay sanded smooth with hand painted glossy floral details. My work is made in my home studio, either thrown on the pottery wheel, or hand built from clay slabs, which have been textured and cut using templates. After all these years I still can’t wait for the kiln to be fully cool before opening it up. Every single toasty load requires the use of my trusty leather welding gloves. My favorite studio mates are my sweet golden doodle, Lucky, and his prickly co-patriot, Luna, the schnocker. Feel free to pick up and hold the pieces. Feel the weight, the texture of the clay and glaze, and the fit of the handles. See if it’s for you and your home.

KC is an award-winning mixed media artist based in Ogden, Utah, known for her unique dioramas made from thrift store finds, her great grandma’s costume jewelry, and other memorabilia. In addition to her dioramas, KC paints delicate watercolors, often focusing on botanicals, and explores mixed media techniques to create striking 2D and relief artwork. Her work invites viewers to engage with a blend of history, memory, and nature, encouraging a deep connection to the past and present. Originally from the Midwest, KC lived in Maryland for 12 years before making Ogden her home in 2014. With a background in landscape architecture and a passion for teaching, KC blends her love for creativity with her skills in learning and development. She is dedicated to fostering an empowering environment where others can explore their own creative potential and contribute to their community. In addition to her visual artwork, KC developed a deck of storytelling prompts designed to inspire creativity. Artists, writers, and creatives use these prompts to spark new ideas, overcome creative blocks, and tell their unique story.
