Fresh, wholesome ingredients combine with our original slow-cook process to create our unbelievably smooth and full-flavored caramels. In 1935, my great grand father, Oliver E. Squire, produced and sold fresh milk in his rural community. The surplus of his milk was placed in milk cans and sent by rail to be sold in the city at a premium to those who understood the value of old-fashioned goodness. A prized possession that connects me to my great grandfather’s down-home values is an original milk can that bears his name, now almost 100 years old.
