Description
These upcycled cotton bandanas are printed with French Red Ocher. The cloth is first scoured and then soaked in Soy Milk to allow the Ocher to bind to the cloth when printed. This technique is often used when using mineral based or plant based pure pigments to cloth. The found items used to print this design are a glass vinegar jar and a wood dowel. What fun you can have exploring found item printing. All naturally dyed items are each made one at a time the old slow fashion way. There will e minor imperfections with the design or cloth making it a truly unique item.
They measure 22×22 and feature a rolled hem on each edge.
Care: Hand wash in cool water with a gentle detergent. Can be pressed with an iron on a cotton setting to release wrinkles.
