Description
The best way to keep plastic straws out of landfills is not to use them. If you like to use a straw, there are other nonplastic alternatives. I’ve used paper and metal straws in addition to plastic and glass. Paper straws become soggy. Metal can leave a metallic taste in your mouth which some people dislike. My glass straws are hypoallergenic, taste free and are eviromentally friendly. They are made of borosilicate glass. The same thing as Pyrex dishes. They are dishwasher safe (best in your silverware rack), heat and cold resistant and if cared for the same way as any other glass drinkware, very durable.
This is for an individual straw (see my other listing for individual straws). I also sell cleaning brushes individually for $1. Let us know if you would like us to include one and we can send you an invoice for it to your email.
All straws are 9mm in diameter (.35″) except the Fat Clear which are 11mm (.43″). The fatter straws are great for smoothies or for people who like more flow when drinking.
The straws are generally 9″ long, but due to the handmade nature of them they can be a little shorter or longer. If you need a different length please contact me and I can take care of you.
