Made by Jen Hart all started with a desire to find something to do as my two beautiful daughters were growing more independent. With some searching on Pinterest, I discovered Barb, a woman living in Canada, that makes various items out of concrete. What!?!? Concrete?? Yes, concrete. My first thought was, “I can do that.” Well, turns out I couldn’t! It was hard. I practiced and experimented and always had the thought of “I wonder if I did that, would it work?” After a couple of years of making Hypertufa planters out of everyday household yogurt and plastic containers, I started experimenting with actual silicone molds and stepping into decorative concrete planters. And so Made by Jen Hart was brought to life.
