Let’s create a beautiful and unique mixed media keepsake box for your treasures that will look incredible wherever you choose to display it!

This is a comprehensive course for basic mixed media where attendees will learn a full range of techniques with hands-on instruction.

We’ll begin with an 9.7” x 7.3” x 2” unfinished wood box.

Techniques will include composition of various elements, including some created by you using resin and/or clay, as well as ready made embellishments.

We’ll then unify everything using gesso, metallic wax and water-based varnish.

All supplies and materials are provided in the class fee.

About the Artist:

Jackie Archibald is a mixed media artist who loves the freedom and challenge of using various materials to create one-of-a-kind pieces.  Some of her favorite materials include; resin, heavy gel medium, gesso, metallic waxes, paint, metal, chipboard and just about any interesting object she can find.
