Observational Art Practice
on Tuesday August 18th from 6:30 to 9pm, $16, Taught by Charis
Come practice drawing and painting from real life with a lovely cosplayed woodland fairy model! We’ll vibe out with good music as we draw and/or paint in our wonderful creative community. Supplies included—use of Charis’s gear, including pencils and drawing paper, plus use of her acrylic paints and brushes etc with one medium sized canvas for each participant, are included, or you may bring your own art supplies if you’d like to use your own media (sketchbook/paper/canvas with drawing, charcoal, watercolor, gouache, acrylic, oils with safflower or linseed oil mediums—anything other than smelly solvents are welcome!). Table easels will be provided for the night, no need to lug your own along. This is a mostly uninstructed workshop, but Charis will be on hand happily to help your set up and answer any questions.
MUST REGISTER BY 10pm NIGHT BEFORE to guarantee a spot. Otherwise, extra spots will only be made available if there are extra canvases on a first come first served basis, or the class may be canceled if there are zero sign ups the night before.
