What:

All skill levels are welcome to come build a personalized platter using the slab building method.

• We will roll and prepare the clay
• Add texture and personalization using lace, stamps, and stencils
• Cut the clay using your choice of a variety of wooden pottery forms
• Choose to add handles and or birds using a sprig mold
• You will select a glaze color the night of the event
• The pieces will be available to pick up after two weeks to allow time for the pieces to be carefully dried, glazed and fired

Unclaimed Artwork Policy

The Local Artisan Collective has limited storage space for completed class projects due to our active classroom schedule and retail operations. We kindly ask that all completed artwork be picked up within 30 days of notification that it is ready.

Projects not collected within 30 days may be offered for sale at the discretion of The Local Artisan Collective.

If your artwork is selected for sale, consider it a compliment—someone else admired your creation, too!

Hello!  I’m a small-batch potter from Northern Utah who’s been happily playing with mud since 1998. I make functional, feel-good pieces with smooth bare clay and hand-painted floral details.  I love teaching people how to make their own special pieces with clay and I look forward to meeting you in class.

Cancellation Policy:

To receive a refund minus a $5 processing fee, cancellations must be requested seven days prior to the class, allowing enough time to refill the vacated spot.
