What:
Beginner Handbuilding Pottery: Coasters Workshop
We will turn a ball of clay into a fun set of coasters! If you already have a set of coasters you love to use, then you can make a holder for the coasters! For the second class we will glaze them. You will have many colors to choose from to paint your pottery and make it one of a kind.
This is a beginner class, all skill levels are welcome!
$60/person for a two part class, January 15th and 29th.
OR
Glaze only on Wednesday, January 29th. You will choose from a variety of handmade pottery pieces available and will learn how to glaze them! Glazing is essentially painting the pottery. There will be a variety of colors available and examples to give inspiration. Join me for an evening of fun, and learn a new skill!
$35/person (two ornaments are included with the class, you may choose to purchase more pieces at the event)
A pottery wheel will also be available on January 15th for all class participants to use and learn to throw a pot on if interested.
- After the pieces are complete they will be ready within 2 days to 1 week. If you need it more quickly please talk to me at the class and I can make sure to have it ready for pick up as quickly as possible.
- Pick-Up Pottery: You will get a call or text when the pottery is ready for pick up at the Local Artisan Collective.
