Christina Charbonneau from Crema

Christina was born and raised in her beloved Ogden, UT.

Some of her earliest memories are of expressing herself by making art, and at 47 she hasn’t stopped yet.

With her Bachelors of Fine Art in Sculpture/Painting, and 8 years of professional jewelry making, she considers herself a jack-of-mediums when it comes to creative expression. She has tried it all: Drawing, Painting, Etching, Sculpting, Carving, Silk Screening, Printmaking, Batiking, Goldsmithing, Quilting, Beading, Sewing, Crocheting, Knitting, and, Macaroni Art!

Her latest obsession is with wool needle felting.

These are the kind of pieces you will find in the Collective with the Crema tag.  Each design is unique, and is most definitely born out of inspiration from the original wool item itself, likely rescued from SAVERS.  This medium is sensual to the eye as well as the fingers, and is proving to be endless in its applications. Christina says it is like painting with wool. A lovely blend of 2 and 3 dimensions.

And she hopes that folks who wear her items enjoy them as much as she has enjoyed making them.

Custom orders can be difficult due to the unpredictable nature of finding specific wool items second hand. But if you have an idea, she’d love to explore with you.
