Slow down. Look closer. Discover the unexpected beauty, details, and stories hiding in plain sight in Downtown Ogden. Join us for a mindful creative walk and see your familiar surroundings in a whole new way. Along the way, we’ll pause to sketch, photograph, and observe the small things most people walk past. No art experience needed. Bring your curiosity and a willingness to slow down and notice. A small paperback journal and a pencil will be provided to record your observations.

Please note: We will meet in front of The Local Artisan Collective in Ogden. We’ll be walking for 60-90 minutes outdoors. Participants should plan accordingly by wearing comfortable walking shoes and bringing water, sun protection, and anything else they’d like to use for sketching or photographing their observations.

About the Instructor

KC Peek (she/her) is an artist, leadership coach, and nature lover based in Ogden, Utah. With a background in landscape architecture, she explores the natural world with curiosity. Her walks combine observation, conversation, and reflection, drawing on her coaching practice to help participants slow down, get curious, and see familiar places in new ways. KC believes that paying attention empowers creativity.
