Join us for a fun and creative jewelry class where you’ll transform an upcycled silver spoon into a stunning ring! Unleash your inner artisan as you explore the option to add a personal touch with stamped words or dates. With all materials and tools provided, you’ll have everything you need to craft your masterpiece! No experience necessary. Come craft some memories with us!

About The Instructor:
This class will be taught by Rene Venegas, a 16th generation silversmith. His family was one of the first to arrive from Spain to the Americas. His ancestor, Felipe Venegas, was the silversmith for the early cathedrals in the Dominican Republic and stamped the first European coins in the New World. He has been teaching jewelry and silversmithing classes at Weber State for 15 years. In addition, he has been featured in The Standard Examiner, The Signpost, KUTV Inside the Story, FOX13 Good Morning Utah, The Salt Project and KTVX Good Things Utah.
